Citing
to the NMAC
|
|
The proper way to cite the NMAC is established in 1.24.10.9 NMAC. There are three options: full citation, modified full citation, and short-form citation. Most people use the short-form citation. Full citation
consists of the name of the part, followed by a comma, a space,
the name of the issuing agency, followed by a comma, a space, the
title number, followed a period, the chapter number, followed by a
period, the part number, a space and the initials “NMAC.” The citation
shall be followed by the effective date in parentheses. Modified full
citation is similar to the full citation but the name of the issuing
agency is omitted. Short-form
citation consists of the title, chapter, and part number separated
by periods and followed by “NMAC.” If a citation
goes to the section level, the section number is placed after the
part number and before “NMAC.” If a citation goes below the section level, the designations precede the citation. For example: Subparagraph (a) of Paragraph (2) of Subsection D of 6.11.2.12 NMAC. |
