New NMAC/NM Register Site Announcement
The Commission of Public Records (NMCPR) announces that they have updated both of their official sites for all notices of rulemaking and all adopted rules. The State Rules Act mandates that the creation of the New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC) to compile all rules and to assist the public in finding current rules. Since 2002, NMCPR has assumed responsibility for and published the New Mexico Register. All notices of rule hearings and all newly adopted, repealed or amended rules are published in the New Mexico Register. Once those rules become effective, the electronic copies are then posted on the NMAC.
This new site for both the NMAC and the New Mexico Register enhances search capabilities and will provide a more secure platform for current and future rule accessibility. The new web address for both NMAC and New Mexico Register site is www.nmcpr.state.nm.us/nmac. If you have any questions about this new site or about any notice or rule, please contact the Administrative Law Division at 476-7941 or by email at email@example.com.
