The Friends of New Mexico History Foundation was established to support and strengthen the various programs of the Office of the State Historian of New Mexico.

The Friends of New Mexico History Foundation operates exclusively for charitable, literary, educational and scientific purposes within the scope of Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code and the New Mexico Non-Profit Corporation Act.
