Informational Services is based upon making information on New Mexico history accessible, all-inclusive, and meaningful. As the Office of the State Historian continues to develop a comprehensive research agenda that includes an understanding of New Mexico’s past, a concomitant goal is to make this knowledge readily accessible to a larger public. The New Mexico History Web Project is included in this program goal and is an interactive, multimedia, and interdisciplinary website, aims to engage the New Mexico public as well as world citizens in a journey that not only explores New Mexico history and culture but also allows visitors to enter into dialogue with other participants, present and past.
