Training Description

This course is being offered to provide training and guidance on basic records management principles and best practices. Course topics include record access and security, file maintenance systems, determination of official copy of record, and record classification. Class size is limited to 20 people and walk-ins are not permitted. If there are fewer than five individuals signed up for this training 72 hours prior to the class, the training will be cancelled and rescheduled for another date. This course is open to all state, judicial, legislative, county, municipal, and local public body employees and is the first of two required courses for records management personnel.
