Training Description

This course is being offered to provide training and guidance on basic records management principles and guidance to designate records management personnel on the requirements and procedures in accordance with the Public Records Act. Course topics include but limited to records access and security, file maintenance systems, determination of official copy of record, records classification, procedures for storage, withdrawal and disposition of records. Class size is limited to 20 people and walk-ins are not permitted. If there are fewer than five individuals signed up for the training 72 hours prior to the class, the training will be cancelled and rescheduled for another date. This course is open to all state, judicial, legislative, county, municipal, and local public body employees.
